Drupal Modules

08/06/2009 - 12:03

I am a big fan of drupal. I have working with it for a bit now and have been able to do a lot of cool stuff with it. Every time I step into drupal I come out with something new whether it be a new view of how to code an old process better, or just a new better way of doing something in drupal that I was doing differently before. With that said the biggest pain I find in Drupal is not being able to find the correct modules. The last thing I want to do when on a deadline is reinvent the wheel. But shifting through contributed modules trying to find the one that fits can be a pain. Well the other day I bookmarked this page. drupalmodules.com It gives the top modules downloaded, rated, and favorite..it..ed. It has been making it a lot easier for me to find what others are using and what they think about them. It is just a span off of the drupal.org site, but I think it look better, it has a little bit more ease of use and it should because it is dedicated to the modules the stuff that makes drupal go from good to great.

Thanks,
Jacob Pitassi
